In March 2010 we were asked to design and create customized photo basketball awards for the 50th Anniversary celebration of the 1960 Minnesota Boys State High School Basketball Championship Game. Edgerton High School was the smallest school (in enrollment size) in state history to capture the old single class championship as they defeated Austin High School.
Nearly all of the players and coaches from both teams appeared at the Target Center in Minneapolis at halftime of the Class AAAA Boys' State High School Championship Game. Each player and from Edgerton and Austin received a commemorative photo basketball to make the occasion.
To see our photo basketballs on the Target Center floor and our advertisement on the scoreboard was truly a humbling experience.
In 2010, PhotoBallGuy.com partnered with Minnesota Preps to present a 'Personalized Photo Sports Ball' Award to the Player of the Week in Minnesota high school football and boys' basketball. It is an honor and privilege to work hand in hand to honor the top performers in each sport. Please take a look at some of the 2010-2011 winners below.
There's nothing more fun than receiving awards presentation photos from coaches and parents. It is a pleasure to help enhance a very special and hard earned event.
